[Acl-Devel] Best option without interfering usage

Hi All,

We had create share and share it thru samba.Now this share has
thousand of files and sub-folders. Some users complain about the they
will lost their permissions when i will change all folders acls
because i create a front-end GUI that will firstly REMOVE  previous
acl then apply the new ones.

What would the best option for setting acl in this case?
Is is okey to used  $setfacl --set  or $setfacl -m ?

Please advice.
